The Orange Box

Okay, so I haven't actually played any of the games in the Orange Box but I will say that I think I was the only one of my friends to play Half-Life and to really get into Counter Strike, both of which are made by the same group that put together the Orange Box. I did however play a flash based remake of the game Portal, available here, which is one of the games in the "Orange" bundle. What a sweet concept. I did talk to someone at work that had played the real Portal game and he said it was one of the coolest games ever. The concept behind it is that you have a gun that shoots out 2 portals. When you go in one, you come out of the other. You can also shoot into one and your bullets come out the other. There are a lot of puzzle-type levels that you have to reason through by using combinations of the portals. I love shooter type games that incorporate puzzles to break up the monotony of button mashing, much like the Zelda franchise.
